Swansea City caretaker head coach Alan Sheehan has named an unchanged starting line-up for tonight’s Championship meeting with Preston North End (7.45pm). The Irishman keeps faith with the side that started last weekend’s meeting with Middlesbrough. Carl Rushworth continues in goal, with Harry Darling, Ben Cabango, Bashir Humphreys and Josh Tymon making up the Swansea defence. Captain Matt Grimes and Jay Fulton are paired together in midfield, with Josh Key, Jamie Paterson and Liam Walsh operating ahead of them. Jamal Lowe leads the line for the hosts, while Joe Allen and Nathan Wood are among the substitutes. David Cornell in goal for them. And Freddie Woodman on the bench. Both ex-Swansea, wasn't Woodman on loan from Newcastle?
We are in need of new owners to get this club out of it's decline. Selecting Duff over Chris Davies last summer tells you all you need to know about the dickheads in our boardroom.....
I have talked to some of our old players (names withheld) and they have confirmed that our boardroom is a mess....
Well that wasn't a pretty performance. We didn't seem to have an answer to the Preston press and had difficulty trying to play through it. I thought our play out from the back was poor including Rushworth who is usually far better than he was tonight. I had resigned myself to us throwing a lead away again until we capitalised on that Preston mistake. Still it's a home win and 3 points
