Best of luck with that. he is going to be asked about it and maybe the clubs given him nothing. arsenal have at least let it be known prior to arteta facing the media. klopps hung out to dry here. again.
And if he’s asked he can say - the club made a statement. I’m here to talk about football. if someone asks again, just refer to previous comment. if ask again, refer to previous comment. no exactly hard is it. If press don’t want to actually ask questions about football then klopp can just leave. no idea why you think this is the worst thing in the hirstory of football
Best of luck with that. he'd look a fool and the usual suspects would be armed with all they need to lay into the club and him. no football manager should be hung out to dry by their own club. every other club has come out and said what was needed. arsenal had a sum total of two sentences and arteta was briefed to say fans should be looked after and then they all moved on.
Yesterday’s ruling by the European Court of Justice does not change Liverpool FC’s previous stance on a proposed European Super League. Our involvement has been discontinued. We will continue to work with fellow clubs through the ECA and participate in UEFA competitions. the exact way lfc statement reads. snotty. Had to be dragged out of them, and at the last moments before the press conference. as for people putting words in my mouth "worst thing ever" etc get real, we do not need klopp exposed to the press for more leading questions. the game this weekend is vital and to shoot ourselves in the foot for the sake of petty fsg bullshit is not acceptable. it'd have taken all of 20 seconds to put that out yesterday
Who cares? As long as we win, couldn’t give two ****s what the media write? If anything be great, team thrives in adversity so if it’s a then v us scenario then brilliant, will only drive team on. Fans only hate other clubs and teams when they’re successful. No one hates Bournemouth
"Yesterday's ruling by the European Court of Justice does not change Liverpool FC's previous stance on a proposed European Super League. Our involvement has been discontinued. We will continue to work with fellow clubs through the ECA and participate in UEFA competitions". Short and sweet. Like it.
Not sure what issue he has with Stephen hendry. Ok he plays snooker but can’t hold that against him really.
didn’t that piece of **** ditch his long term wife the minute he retired? I’m with you munse, guys an animal
The issue is not external politics it's what your owner is actually doing to the sport. I'm not condoning those external moral issues btw , but the two issues are not linked.
It's owners like yours that helped create the circumstances that led to the ESL and btw the driving force behind it was not our owners but the Spanish giants .
Untrue because takeovers have always been taking place. The fact is some clubs have bankrolled their very existence on holding all the cards. The clubs like yours are scared of competition that's what lead to this. The competition hasn't been fair for decades long before Chelsea got taken over which incidentally cost Newcastle their place in the champions league. There's nothing special about what the big clubs have done the past 30 years, so it's hardly unfair for other clubs to try and spend money to win a few pots.
we only spend what we earn that is the difference though it is pretty pointless discussing this as you and I will never agree on it and anyway most of the time you're just on the wum .
What you have to appreciate about Munse, is much like his position about Arab owners prior to Newcastle ever having a sniff about being owned by one, he will be fully against the ESL, right up until there's a sniff of Newcastle wanting to be a part of it. Then he'll be claiming some faux moral victory to justify it there as well.
Amazing that despite the lfc statement not one ‘headline’ about it on sky or bbc. I thought it was incredible important news that the media would be all over.. apparently no one gives a **** as expected. Do think klopp is brilliant though. The following is exactly what needed to be said. The ESL or what ever has pros and cons and plenty cons… but doesn’t mean uefa having a monopoly on European football is a good thing and they need to know that so the threat is always there in case they try to push things too far. klopps comments. But I am delighted that we finally get a bit of an understanding that Fifa and Uefa and other bodies cannot just do what they want," said Klopp In the future we have to talk about a lot of stuff and if we just do the things they [Uefa] do - like putting in more competitions and playing more games - and we don't have a real say in what is going on, I like that they get a bit of a shake," he sai
As far as I can tell it was only mito that was getting hot under the collar over it - I have no idea why. Munse is just on the wum.
