Tbh if FFP is removed that would be useful. Joke to one side I'm definitely not a fan of this super league ****, but I sense it will take place there's just too much money involved. I suspect the real reason they didn't go ahead was because they knew they have this illegal block to deal with, so they pulled out saying they'd made a 'mistake' pretending they were sorry. I've noticed there's more arguments for it now appearing which is nice for them.
It’s in the interests of the Italian teams I imagine whose revenue is pretty limited. Spain maybe too as both Barca and Real are skint. I wouldn’t mind there being fewer leagues to make other leagues stronger. There was talk of merging the Dutch and Belgian leagues recently which got voted down. You could put Scotland with Norway or something. Ukraine and Russia together is just logical- throw in Belarus etc. and get the band back together. Switzerland doesn’t need its own league and is basically Austria anyway which is basically Germany so lob them together.
