The U.N. is a waste of space. I've long said that the permanent membership should be abolished if we truly believe in democracy. But I'll caveat that by saying if it was, and things were voted upon equally, the rest of the countries would need to have the balls to take action under the name of the U.N. when things didn't suit the likes of the U.S., UK, China and Russia. Would they? Would they fck.

So we've gone from a UN Resolution that called for an immediate ceasefire which was binned off by the U.S. 2 weeks ago, to a UN Resolution which doesn't call for any cessation of violence and instead calls for all the hostages to be released immediately, which has been approved.
