Eddie Howe has been provided with a good squad then and unfortunately something isn't suitable for it. I don't know why we can't just accept I might have a case .. I'm being reasonable enough to accept I could be wrong.
They got the £100m on the accounts (2 years ago?) that goes in immediately Carlos £31m over 4 years = £7.75m off that £100m in year 1 Coutinho £20m over 4 years = £5m off that £100m in year 1 Duran £16.6m over 5 years = £3.5m off that year 1 Dedonker £15m over 5 years = £3m off that year 1 Moreno £13m over 4 years £3.3m off that year 1 Olsen £3.6m over 4 years £900,000 off that year 1 Kamara - Free Total - £23.5m year 1 Tielemans was free Diaby £55m over 5 years = £11m off that £100m for year 2 Torres £33m over 5 years = £6.5m off that for year 2 Zaniolo is a loan for 1 year = £5m off that year 2 Lenglet is a loan (no fee) Total Year 1 to year 2 £23.5m + Year 2 £22.5m Total Year 1 and Year 2 = £46m to FFP add onto that another £70mish in sales for Archer Philogen Nakamba Davis Chukwemeka Targett Ings Trezeguet El Ghazi They're not doing too bad. I think they'll need cl to keep going though as out front of shirt, sleeve, and manufacturing deals now massively blow them out the water.
Can someone explain why FFP prevents our manager from rotating the side ans making substitutions that work.
Not everything I reply to is aimed at you mate. Some are questioning why we still have Lascelles, Dummet, Karius, Manquillo, Longstaff in squad, trying to explain why. We can't afford to change them out yet.
Targett was good when he joined initially. He then got injured and Burn (in EHs ) did nothing wrong to warrant a Targett recall. He can definitely do a job whilst we prioritise a CB, right winger and a striker
Some reports that the PIF are unhappy with Howe and in particular the summer transfer activity. @Roland Deschain
There's a few but probably bullshit although it wouldn't surprise me. The truth is we don't know who howe said no to, but apparently he was given the chance to sign some top players and didn't fancy it.
Like everything most simple folk will believe the news they like and dismiss what they don't like, but the reports suggest Howe will be replaced for next season if the side continues to implode. I mean it could be true or it could be fake news but we can’t be sure.
Sure, but what I'm not quite understanding is why our comparative spending, which was higher, was so much worse planned than theirs or West Ham's? Those clubs bought good players who needed to fill roles in their team - we bought 4 subs, 3 from England.
Well if it was Ashworth we might not have that problem for much longer…… but considering he had to go in gardening leave from Brighton and we paid them £2m in compensation if imagine Man Utd will have to pay far more
