Thought both spoke well. Said everything I wanted to hear about playoffs being the aim.

Stuck in a meeting but not been able to watch. Keen to know if anybody who wasn't sure on him feel a bit more comfortable after that press conference?

I know its just words - but I like this mindset from him. He likely knows he will be under pressure either way, so he may as well acknowledge it and embrace it

Full alignment was mentioned by both which is so crucial. No petty disagreements playing out in the media please.

Good to see people are already taking this the wrong way. He is talking about his COACHING as assistant at Rangers and Villa and as Head Coach of QPR not his management skills when he was manager at Rangers, as he is not the manager here. We really have some thick fans.

It's very rare that people give themselves nicknames tbh.

Scouser is an insult based on the cheap soup the poor of the city existed on. Cockney was originally meant to describe people who were lazy and useless.

    I could go on <laugh>

    "We Mackem and they Tackem"

Slang for "We Make them and they take them".

As I understand it, "we [the shipyard workers] mak 'em and ye [the harbour pilots/tugboat captains who move the ships after completion] tak 'em". The piss-taking element of the nickname being based on the pronunciation of the words "make" and "take".

    As for Cockney - https://www.etymonline.com/word/cockney
