I used to joke about Lady Di's Ghost as a ridiculous suggestion for The Masked Singer, but it looks like that's what we're getting in the new series of The Crown.....
This one's firmly in the best category. I don't watch much animation but this one was getting such high praise from viewers and critics I gave it a go, it was a good call because it's not just the best animation I've ever seen it's one of the best shows in general in recent years. Started off good and got better every episode. The trailer makes it look like it's balls to the wall action but a lot of it is top drawer character work and I found it a fascinating look at ancient Japan. Like stepping back in time, the detail is superb. Class through and through. Can't recommend it highly enough.
Finished Bodies. It was all going so well until the last sixty seconds. How does that ending happen when everything that's gone before has happened?
Not sure whether to give it a go or not, Stephen Graham is class but someone described it as being like a really good episode of Dr Who and that was enough to put me off. I don't know how accurate it is.
It's Utopia crossed with Back To The Future. I'd say it's worth a go but I can see why people wouldn't connect with it.
Yes. And the building. It's an obvious teaser for a potential S2, but how do you even begin to write the story for that bearing in mind the events of S1? There's nowhere to start from.
I forgot about the building. It's 100% a series two teaser. Though it's down on Netflix as a limited series so should be finished there, it's clear the writers have other ideas! Ypu are right though that ending shouldnt happen, what was written in the building shouldn't exist anymore due to what happened. But I reckon if there is a series 2 it will be people from a parallel timeline where it was never stopped?
It's a beauty isn't it, stunning backgrounds as well. They must have done a load of research to get all the details authentic, I assume they are anyway, not having been around in Japan in the 17th century. Well the story only gets better as events unfold and you get to know the characters more so I'm sure you'll enjoy it.
The new series of Fargo is off to a good start. Seems to be back on track after a couple of previous average series'.
Good to hear. I thought S4 was bizarre - like they were trying to be too clever with all of it and it ended up lacking a real story - too many loose ends left Enjoyed S1 the most for obvious reason, S3 was good too with Ewan McGregor
I think we bowed out during series 3, it wasn't bad but didn't feel much compulsion to see it through, didn't really fancy 4. Mainly enjoyed 3 because my wife didn't realise Ewan McGregor was playing two characters and it was fun taking the mick out of her. It was weird watching Ted Lasso with Juno Temple speaking with an Essex accent and immediately after watching her play the lead in Fargo doing a strong Minnesotan one. I'm no expert but she seems to be nailing it.
Just seen there's a third series of this starting in a week, great show to watch with your kids. All about friendship and respecting nature, me and my little girl love it. It's well capable of an emotional punch in the gut too.
Ever seen it but always looks like there isn't one on about 98% of shows with military in mate. First step of a military advisor, make sure they shape their ****ing berets!
