Over confidence is a worry tomorrow. Sure, we hammered them last season at Anfield and they are in a poor run at the minute with quite a few injuries. However, if Tin Hat lays out a defensive team with orders to close down space and simply stop us playing at all costs, a ball over the top to Rashford who can finish when he is in the mood and things could get difficult. The solution is to really go for the jugular early doors and get a goal or two, settle things down and hopefully, we get a nice relaxed afternoon. Which will it be?
we will know from who tin hat puts up top. I'd have rashford as far away from having to close anyone down as possible. so so lazy at it. they can trouble us 109% bit their heads can drop so we just want a professional performance first and then let the additional crowd hopefully help drive the team on. my think is this lot may well drag lindeloff off the injury table so they should be done in if we play at a high tempo.
there's individuals we've played before all round the park that can put a show on. we only need recall their injury crisis under ogs when they played young at lb and such and they only came for 0-0 and got it. there's plenty of players there to go do thst if we don't do our job and really we will know pretty quick of our players have assumed they only need to turn up or whether they really want to get the job done. I'm going to assume dally at lb and wan biscuit at rb, varane and lindeloff at cb. mctominay and "aromatic" as 6s. they will try to stick in the game imo. they looked really nervous at home v bayern but away? who knows it might be easier for them
