I'm feeling upbeat about the future Today.. looking forward to the transfer window....Newcastle are quite close now maybe 3 or 4 good signings over the next 2 windows and we'll be back threatening the top 6.

For God sake can common sense prevail and please just replace lascelles longstaff Ritchie Dubravka and longstaff over the next few windows( two ideally)... these players are not good enough for top half clubs. Seeing people after Almiron, but I find it bizarre considering the aforementioned.

They are good agd lads you can't knock them for their effort, but it's time... longstaff simply because of a rule will survive, but we need a better player.

They probably need a striker at some point aswel because Wilson is looking like his legs have gone sadly. Wilsons been a great signing, but now the extra 10 million villa paid for Watkins makes sense.... looks finished

The Almiron thing is I think because he is lur starting right winger compared to the others who won't start but are worse, for me personally too something about his unwillingness to use his right foot makes me so angry when i watch our games cause he kills momentum constantly and like the last 3 games he ****s chances by trying to adjust his feet.

Almiron for me gives so much though.. as soon as he gets tired and Gordon likewise its one way traffic. Wasn't his best last night but still doing ok for me overall.

I agree we'll need a better player but there's far worse players need replacing right now.

Cb left back is desperate for attention and so is gk and maybe even striker soon aswel.

Would you not prefer a good cb gk left back before moving on to rw and striker ? I suppose the other doesn't matter long term.

No I completely agree mate, I'd say the order is pretty spot on too. Its just an irrational hatred with Almiron cause if he had a right foot he'd be spot on and seeing it constantly cause issues over the years with what appears to be no attempt to work on it drives me mad.

You would think in training he could possibly practice using his right foot
    I’m not a coach but ….

Some people are more ambidextrous than others .. he is what he is at his age and he does an awful lost of positive things.. like most our players he's not quite what people want but for me anyone that gives that much deserves forgiveness for a miss here and there.

I think he's fine for seeing out games or coming on late to inject some pace but I think he's more of a detriment to the team as a starting 11 player because teams know if you show him to the outside he can only go backwards. I appreciate his work rate but Lascelles works hard, Hayden worked hard but they aren't good enough.

Almiron is as much the reason for our slump as anyone. How the **** he missed that last night will haunt me to my grave. He's ****ing 2 yards out. He epitimoses what's wrong - plucky, smiling, running about try-hard....but with zero goals or assists, constantly messing up in good positions.

The players Munse mentions aren't PL players. We should be replacing Almiron, Schar, Burn, Longstaff, Wlson and Pope with first team starters. That's why the Summer was so utterly, bafflingly stupid. We signed backup for Trippier, backup for Burn, backup for Gordon and backup for Bruno. Who the **** was in charge of that?! £150m+ on subs.

Almiron is a level above the likes of lascelles hayden. Like I say you can see the game swing when Alimiron and Gordon slow down.

There's decent players and there's below par and that's lascelles and the players that are probably relegation fodder at best unfortunately.

Almiron has goals and assists last season and so far this.... people go mad over one or two games here and there but some have one or two good games in years.

Wilson was worse than last night tbh... think he's done.

He was actually brilliant vs psg at home the only game we won.. he's tired mate and off the ball he's a nightmare for other teams.

I like the player think he's more than capable and we've got players nowhere near that level and a small number a level above.

I fully admit im biased mate, there's much worse players in the squad but he'd be the first I'd get rid off, never has a player made me so irrationally mad before.

We desperately need a striker, the 2 we have are made of polystyrene and completely out of form.

Someone like Toney would be ideal.

Solanke would be a good signing.
