First one is easy - Tufan After that it gets much more difficult, as it could be any two from at least half a dozen but I’ll go: Morton Twine Could easily have had Delap, Connolly, Coyle or Jones/Greaves.
Tufan. Delivered Quality, superb energy, effort & determination. Our most skilled player by far Morton. Starting to really show leadership in possession & bossing the midfield Delap. Took their full back on all through the game so positive he frightened their defence everyone was on their game today well done to all and special mention to Connolly who really has improved his fitness since last 2 games
Tufan Morton Twine. And one vote each for all the team. A very solid team performance throughout. Very impressive City.
I've been thinking about this for about 2 hours now and I just give up. That was a cracking team performance. I can't pick just three!
Tufan Connolly Delap Could have been any other 3 of the lads. Great team performance all round. Team spirit looks sky high. Imagine if Philogene had been on the pitch…double figures?
Would we have played a different system / formation and different outcome One (of many) thing from yesterday was the all round team performance, which has probably made the top 3 - man of the match, less easier than usual
Tufan - best player on the pitch by some distance. Twine - worked his socks of, good movement and a cracking goal. Morton - a few stray passes, but always available and won the midfield battle. Great all around team performance, a really enjoyable watch.
Tufan- sublime goal and worked hard for team. Morton- The boys a class act. Twine- great free kick and starting to come good.
Tufan Connolly Morton Special shout out for Twine especially his wonderful free kick. (full disclosure I am one of his detractors) Re Tufan it would be interesting to find out the stat on his first touich passes. He seems to rarely trap and then pass the ball, its always a ffrst touch pass and then move. He excels like no other in the team in that respect. HIs display yesterday was magnificient
Not quite, a couple of firsts for Delap and one for Coyle but I suspect that Tufan will score the highest points total so far this season when I add them up.
