I mainly have to guess at these others

Just get the guy announced and let him crack on with it. The level of angst is just way out of proportion. Santa is going to be busy dropping off jumbo packs of pampers this Christmas.

If Beale turns out to be ****, the case for a new coach will be clear. Until then, good ducking luck to the bloke. It is completely counterproductive and ridiculous to give him **** before giving him a fair crack at it.

Johnson had us playing good attacking football. He simply couldn’t get us to defend effectively. Yes his excuses were a bit odd but I struggle to think of any manager at a press conference who doesn’t get derided for excuses after a defeat or bad run of form. If Beale gets us winning games we won’t hear many excuses so here’s hoping he does that.

Overall, the club has a very poor record with managers. The last 2 have left earlier than might be expected so something appears to be amiss at least with communication or contracts!

If we had one that scored, he'd be picking himself.

When Mowbray was appointed a large proportion of keyboard warriors went off it due to some perceived insult back when he was WBA manager

Back then I defended it, a quick and easy appointment who could slot straight in and steady the ship after Alex Neil cannonballed off deck and swam to Stoke

What I wasn’t expecting was ‘Uncle Tone’, this Bobby Robson persona who talked about helping these kids become the best they could be, tears in his eyes as he munched on McVities finest. The same impressionable hordes that hated him wanted him to have the job for life

Personality can help motivate young players in the short to medium term; it means bot all when you’re losing games you should be winning

Some spurs fans were campaigning against their appointment of Ange. The tide can change pretty quickly.

Thats just a flat out lie. All three appointments by KLD and Speakman have improved us and took us forward. They were also correct in letting all three leave when they did.

Whoever the new coach is I'll back him as I have done all the others. The only one I couldn't get on board with was Neil. Altho he did well there was something about him I couldn't connect to.

I'd say it should be remembered that most supporters don't use message boards, or go nuts on other social media platforms. When they do that, it will often be the same people anyway.

As with many things in today's world, a few hundred noisy people make a far bigger noise than their numbers merit.

My reservations re Beale are based solely on they way he was grandstanding about being the big loyal guy then shipping out to Rangers a few weeks later. It was a move he couldn't turn down but, to paraphrase Malcolm, " Nothing in his time there, became him like the leaving of it".

That and what a few of my freinds have said about him rubbing a lot of people up the wrong way at Rangers, though, as I think I said earlier, being English might not have helped him when he was under the cosh.

But we all learn as we go along, and why should Beale not? Everyone has said he is an extremely good coach so let's see if he can show us something.

No good leaving it to me anyway, I know nothing of any of the names, so it would just be a lucky dip.

What does that have to do with the decision makers at the club currently?

Allardyce, Neil and Dick Advocaat didn’t move the club forward?

If my posts are irrelevant, you don't have to read or respond to them. Given, the club's past record with managers, they should take notice of the views of supporters. Of course, there are many different views and we shouldn't make the decision but our views should be made and considered.

Thing is, this isn't the same club any more ...

... like night and day compared to the last pathetic administration.

And I don't believe supporters should be listened to after some of the campaigns from the past.

    Ainsworth ffs <doh>
