Someone who came through the ranks. Immediate thought was Gazza. We’ve had a few promising going to be’s over the years who never quite fulfilled their promise and it is obviously very early days for LM. As for shown talent at this stage I’m sticking at this stage with Gazza because that’s how well he has played in his first few games.

He’s a midfielder who has legs and energy and the frame of a man even though he’s only 17.

There’s not been any games where he has been crap.

He scored his first goal today but let’s not forget he crated the chance for Joelinton against AC Milan.

Probably the one positive of the injury crisis is that Miley has come through and proved he can cut it at the top level for an extended period and so should now remain in the first team picture.

I prefer him to Longstaff but figure he’ll play a lesser role now Longstaff is back.

I can remember kids coming through didn’t have to go out on loan to 4 different clubs over 5 years before being trusted to be able to play. Best example is Gazza.
