I’m baffled how you’ve not heard of him kind he’s been pretty headline for the last year or so, all over Sky and all the football press.

And why's that? Did you know who Pep was managing before he took over at Barcelona?

Maybe he's just the most raved about young manager in Europe with people who've heard of him? I mean how do you even qualify his renown <confused>

Hopefully he brings some intensity to our build up play then because I really dislike how slow we play at the moment

Such as? Still is raved about due to what he's done in the game at such a young age.

Mind I'm not saying he's definitely going to be a hit if he does come here.

Haway mate, it is not that simple. Otherwise Henry would have done better at Monaco or Maradona at Argentina. So many players prove to be rubbish coaches.

Oh I ain’t saying that mate, note my first line. I think because of who he is and his personality he is going to be a massive coach. He will manage top clubs and do it well.

Just saying that Leverkusen squad is filth and he’s hit a (by their standards) weak Bayern and inconsistent Dortmund.

I don’t mate, but I see how he could get there. I’ve got the Reims game on now funnily enough and they have switched approach a couple times already and really should be 2 up away to Lens (a CL side)

He definitely has something and he seems to bring players on, Balogun last season being pretty headline. Wasn’t really rated by Arsenal and he went back there as a £40million sale.

It’s things like that that are catching the eye, and make you feel he’s a fit here.

You mean the lad who made over 200 appearances for Barcelona over a 10+ year period? Aye, I'd heard of him.

In all fairness I didn’t want him to get the job full time even before today, purely because interim managers who start off well then get the job full time nearly always have a shelf life, just also think Beale is massively the wrong choice

What he did as a player means nowt when it comes to managing.

He was the Barca B team manager when he got the promotion.

There’s surely no way it’s not Beale. Otherwise one of the outlets that reported it would have updated
