Can we not tarnish a quality performance by continuing this discussion in the match thread?

Anyway, was there a bad performance out there today?!

I actually thought that was one of Morton's weaker showings, had a couple of terrible corners and gave the ball away cheaply a few times.

    Agreed.

There’s an”Other Football News” thread for those more interested in the PL than City. That’s where it should have been posted

Missed the second half but it sounds not much different to the first. Great that Twine finally puts a free kick away but even better, a clean sheet.

Sorry this is on this thread... the 'saddening scenes, 30 minutes after the event, were the supporters, players of both teams and manager of Luton Town (in tears) as they walked around the pitch applauding the supporters. Someone obviously had a serious medical situation for the second time in a short period of time. But of course, thats ok isn't it because he's been reported to be responsive. Doesnt matter who they play for.

Wow! That was such wonderful football and the best we’ve played as a team. Brilliant. Hats off to Rosenior for finding a formula to reverse two successive defeats and the absence of our star player. Tufan was superb, and so pleased for him (and for Acun as at last one of his Turkish acquisitions has proved to be a nugget of gold). Thrilled for Scotty Twine to get his reward after plugging away. Possibly his best game for us too. Well done all!

Why the **** did you respond in the first place, not needed and just makes you look like a dick.

He’s a dick. An over dramatic dick.

    I’ll respond how & when I like.

It was sad. Better news had been released. He didn’t feel that relevant.

The scenes, at that time, were not saddening. They were players, staff & supporters being appreciative & supportive.

It didn’t belong on a MDT after one of our better performances.

    Did I mention he’s a dick?

Is’nt it funny. For the second time in a week we should be celebrating another three
points and a great win tonight by 3 goals. But we always seemed sidelined by sad arguments and disagreements. So I’m going to reiterate. Well done City great three points again, three goals against a clean sheet. Have a few drinks and celebrate for ****s sake.

It was in the warm up so a bit too late than. To honest 10 mins later he looked fine but the fact he didn’t come on makes me think it might be a little worse

Fantastic performance, looked a really well drilled, motivated team today. Really enjoyable watch. Well done Rosie and the team.

On a side note Ben, there are times in life where you hold your hands up and admit you messed up and usually people accept it and move on. This is probably one of those times.

That was a really really good performance. The thing I've been most impressed about recently has been how we've bounced back from defeats to keep picking up consistent points.

The fact we've only lost back to back games once in a year and we've managed to find 2 wins this week, despite losing our most threatening player AND having a bad first half performance on Weds is really impressive. Promotion campaigns are made on these sort of stats. I still don't think this year will be our year, but it also wouldn't surprise me at the same time.

If we get the transfer window right though, who knows? We're 5th for a reason.

With a couple of additions in January we’re solid play off contenders I reckon.

That was probably our most complete performance of the season, dominant from start to finish, plenty of style and flare, every player playing their part. Well done all.
