He held the ball well 2nd half, just didn't have the runners from midfield to support him.....

Only followed the BBC alerts but really, REALLY annoyed with that. Why can't any of our players score when they need to? Why can't we hold on to a lead and why do we so often concede in extra time?

    NOT GOOD ENOUGH.

    Hacked off of Ealing.

Didn't see the game but Cifuentes is beginning to piss me off with his tinker man selection policy and substitutions.

Was always gonna be with this group of players, and now the manager thinks he's Pep and is rotating so often that the gelling the team was starting to show is unravelling. Subs last 2 games have been incomprehensible !

We had the win in our hands though BR. Sounds like our game management was poor.
Ah well, it’s been worse … much much worse.

Yep. Let's hope he quickly realises that we haven't got the squad for too much tinkering. The demands of this league don't help though.

Shame Field seems to be struggling.
That's two chances he should of put away, plus sounds like he's not playing very well either.

I didn't follow the game either. I was driving my daughter's Uni mates home, just as well by the sounds of it. I'm a big advocate of starting your best or winning eleven barring injuries. Plenty of other teams start the same eleven week in week out. I think Burnley did it for fifteen successive matches when they were last at this level. Making five changes from your last game sounds completely unnecessary. It sounds like Field needs some shooting practice, that's at least twice he's cost us this season for having the inability to put a sitter away.

Plenty of time for this group of players to learn and improve. I still think there's three worse teams than us in this division.

Playing with an injury last 2 games definitely, still should've scored today though. We desperately need a decent back up for him and a decent striker.

Armstrong did nothing after about 5 minutes. Dykes won us the ball a few times.

They’re both **** but Dykes is less ****. I’ll die on the hill of Armstrong not being a striker.

I wouldn't go that far! Really bad game to lose in the last 10 minutes - a sort of 6 pointer to a relegation rival. I thought they were better than us too. We haven't played that well since Preston away.

I find it hard to criticise the manager but I think he should have waited for at least 10 minutes before making the changes.
For example, Armstrong was largely played out of the 1st half because we couldn't play to his strengths but the 2nd half would have suited him and used his pace on the break.

In our last game he was brought on far too late. I suppose the Marti also needs time to acclimatise to this league.

Anyway, these results happen every week in this league, so we move on!

Marti we love you for what you’ve done in the short time you’ve been here. But you said your philosophy is based on ‘scoring one and then always pushing on to score again’. Which is just what we wanted to hear. So why attempt to shut up shop? WE’RE NOT GOOD ENOUGH TO SEE OUT A 1-0 LEAD! Please, no matter how little time is left, keep pushing on for a second. We’ve all seen us do this for years, mate. Imploding and snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.
    Let’s say no more.

Really disappointing result and performance. Wasn't able to follow much of the second half, but not concede two in the last ten is so frustrating. Can't let concentration drop like that.
