That game was there to be won. The substitutions should have been made much earlier probably around the 65th minute. It was difficult to defend a free kick from that distance but a howler from Rushworth to concede it in the first place.
Back in the hotel. Thought we had some good spells in the game but why oh why do we take our foot off the gas. We get in the ascendance, then we go backwards at a rapid rate of knots. What was Rushworth thinking picking the ball up, I could see from where I was sitting that it was a back pass.
