My Dad as a 4 year old in Kilburn after his Dad returned from France/Belgium after serving with the Royal Engineers in WWI. Also my Dad (2nd from the left) c1938 on a rooftop somewhere in Kilburn with his mates. Only my Father made it through WWII serving with the 3rd County of London Yeomanry Sharpshooters tank regiment, with their HQ just around the corner from our HQ.
Perhaps I'll hoist a St. James Gate Dublin bottled Guinness in memory of my Dad who passed on in 1993. He could taste the difference from the Park Lane London bottled Guinness. I guess back then it was likely the polluted River Liffey water supply that contributed to the unique taste. So I'm the 3rd generation R, the team I continue to love and support and for which there was never going to be any other choice given the family connections.
Lot of pace! Hills. has a big pitch, if I am not mistaken. Plenty of space for Sinc and Smyth to run into. About time that Dykes got benched.
I’d say rested. He’s played quite a lot recently. Like the team. It’s not the plodding Sheff W team of a few weeks ago but gives us the chance to stretch the game a bit and Bonner should have the freedom to get forward.
