We have agreed to a season long so I guess we can’t send him back.
    Waste of a loan spot.

Liam on Radio Humberside just now - Allyhar trained today, but Liam admitted he hasn't trained in a long time so won't be available for tomorrow.

That might be the great tackle he made sprinting back... was great to see. Its not the first time he's done that this season either...

Not real life....but on fm24 which can be quite accurate there's an option to terminate his loan. If the same exists in real life wonder whether we'll exercise the right to terminate and try use wages elsewhere. He's obv a v good player but even prime maldini would be useless if he could never play. Gutted for him as that's twice he's come on and changed a game only to not be able to play the next few

That burst of speed was impressive
Maybe he’s just not physically strong enough

Liam; Adama Traore is touch and go as well because he made an unbelievable tackle in the game against Middlesbrough. It was a great tackle at a massive time in the game but he just got trod on his knee so he's feeling a little bit sore today.

Oh dear, think Traore needs to give it a rub, pull his big boys pants on, and get on with it. What are some of these players made of?? Meanwhile Lewis Coyle has played through cracked ribs, broken nose/eye socket, think a few players need to take a leaf out of Capt Coyle’s book. Rant over.

I think the term is “soft as ****” for a lot of footballers. Shame they’re not all hard as nails like Lewie.

Vinagre apparently came into close contact with Sinik and caught his injury.

Watch that tackle again guffawing ****s.

Tell me you'd take studs in the knee and play 90 again 72 hours later.

I’m fairly sure the medical team will risk assess each injury as to whether you play and risk causing more serious damage and so a longer spell out, or to just play through the pain barrier. The run of games coming up,and the strength of,the squad will no doubt be taken into account.

Unless you are Captain Coyle, who probably has his own set of rules. I do remember seeing him wincing in the games afterwards, so it was clear his rib injury hadn’t healed. it was at a time when he seemed to be the boo boy’s target and it was only later it was announced he was playing with broken ribs. Incredibly brave, but is that wise? I suspect that is an injury which falls in the category of risking causing much more serious injury? That and then playing with the mask certainly won over the boo boys.
He may not be the greatest footballer, but heart of a lion and what an example to have in the dressing room.

There are a few that milk it for what it’s worth, but most of the injuries picked up while playing football at a decent level are incredibly painful. Stuff to the knees is particularly deadly, given the stress they’re under from constantly sprinting and turning. So if you take a shot to the knees, during a game when your muscles are probably already tightened, it’s probably going to do some damage. Giving it a rub isn’t going to do much and playing with it is certainly going to make it much, much worse.

Agreed.....football at the top level is so competitive nowadays that a player with a knock who's not at 100% is better off out of the starting 11, esp one who plays intense pressing football

Hmm, Liam's 'a little bit sore' could be manager speak for 'buggered for a bit'. I got a bit of a sore knee once, out running. I ignored it, like just like real men do, ended up on crutches for a month. Lesson learnt.
