Morning Full on into the thick end of xmas markets and events now. I'm running on fumes and adrenaline now. Did a great little night last night at a swanky establishment with a young lady I met recently who is a Semelier. Five course tasting menu, with wine pairings. Using my chocolate in the dishes. Fig and Bacon, cream cheese with salted chocolate vinaigirette, Babaganosh with white chocolate, Mexican moule with dark chocolate,... that kind of fancy shiz and all paired with selected wines and ports etc. Was a lot of fun and she's a vivacious little hottie to boot Way too sophisticated for me though lol
Isn’t one who advises which wine to choose and the other which food pairs with the wine ? I dunno, like I said. She’s way too sophisticated for me lol
Another event today. Set up last night. Nice place, one of those modern oak timber framed and loads of glass type places, right next to a river. Some **** has turned the heating on in there though, and coz it's all new, double glazed and well insulated, it's like a ****ing sauna in there First thing I'll do when I turn up this morning is find the heating controls and turn it down to something that doesn't replicate Barbados in July
