It’s quite simple really, that desire and pace needs to be set immediately.

Get into them, don’t give them a minute, winning a throw is winning it’s own individual dual. That’s the mentality, start like that and bag one inside 15 and I think we romp home and have a great Sunday

    exactly

I've never seen a turn up and win game. it assumes you do more than turn up.

lfc do not have such a record of turning up and putting in the top performance week on week.

utd can and have sit ten men back under ogs and we lost our heads and let them get a 0-0 despite having a series of chances.

same for the other on 7-0 nobody but nobody expected utd players to stand round with hands in hips or fall over each other to let us score.

it entirely remains to be seen who flops and who is hot.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm starting to worry about the form of our forwards. It feels like they've been bailed out in the last few games.

Nunez and Gakpo did both score against utd last year, hopefully they will again.

Our forwards are what they are.

Nunez is loved but hes ****ing dire in front of goal. crouch was loved. kuyt was loved. firmino was loved. They all have had successes and need others to socre goals while they worked for the team.

Gakpo is a different type of player and you'd wonder about him central. He's a tap n merchant on the far stick. he needs people to supply him thsoe chances.

Jota is a different sort again.

    Salah is salah

really the midfield needs to provide them a platform here. god only knows what man utd team gets put out in front of us. people are taking utd far to easily imo.

It’s amazing that we’re top when we have 4 **** forwards and only 1 good one in Salah.

We have no midfield other than szobo who is new and mac out of position who can’t tackle and will never be a number 6

And a defence that only consists of vvd and some injury prone defenders plus Trent who every single game defies klopps orders to stay wide but never ever gets dropped or subbed because of it.

Just imagine how good we’ll be if we can buy some good players and they start listening to klopp

they are what they are, they all have their own strengths and weaknesses. I never once said they are ****. I said they are what they are. they need the platform and chances.

more than half gakpo's goals are coming in at the far post area and tapping in form 6 yards. He does that well.

Nunez has been dire on finishing. he works hard like those i mentioned, he gets the same love for the work.

If you want to put your spin on what I actually said go right ahead. I'd like to know where the macallister stuff comes out of cos i never once said a word of it btw.

We’ll always be striving to be better, Klopp is rarely completely satisfied and we are working and working. Being top is a credit for the attitude, desire and never stopping that belief that you can turn the game around.

There are players who have a lot more to give and it’s just not quite happening - but hopefully it all comes together for them on Sunday.

We've been spoiled by excellent first class forwards for so long now, we've forgot what "good" looks like. Current front line isn't as good as the Mane-Firmino-Salah front line but it's still better than most teams have.

I'm not fully made up on Gakpo. Decent squad player but almost feel like he's taking up the develop spot of a homegrown player. He feels a peg below our other forwards, at least for now, maybe he'll improve..

We've done well this season, but I suspect there is a strong element of "other teams not doing as well as they should" to our current position top of the table.

We'll probably be top on Xmas again, but I highly doubt we'll be top in late April. I think we're definitely good enough to stay top four this season and maybe continue fighting for the title for a few more months.

With Endo being subbed early yesterday, is that a sign he's starting on Sunday?

i assume so, as per konate.

however he was also subbed at HT last league game for being tosh.

I'm really worried that in both game she looked rushed on the ball, easy to get it off and slow paced.

If i were Ten haag i'd be targeting him big time. if they don't then it'd be a massive signal that he and his analysis team should be sacked.

Its now up to leg-endo to step up to the plate and overcome that. if he doesn't.... well... January is coming and so might be andre.

I think theres an element of fatigue. The base conditioning is fine unlike last year but they have played more games than the 1 per week brigade.

The christmas period can actually level the playing field for us.

And before anyone says it yes we've coped better than Newcastle or utd in terms of managing the squad and far better than 1 game a week spurs.

    Szoboszlai looks tired to me.
    salah looks tired.
Theres a number of players being managed carefully. Tsimikas, alisson, konate, macallister (preinjury)

we've 5 big games in 2 weeks coming. Huge games. Utd, west ham, arsenal, newcaslte and burnely. You'd at least hope 4 of those are every bit as tired or more.

Some clubs like Newcastle will now be able to loan players from feeder Saudi clubs. How on earth this was voted through is beyond belief. So non oil clubs have to abide by FFP ( and Chelsea LOL) and the oilers can have a load of players on Saudi clubs books that they can “ loan” as needed. What a pile of cr@p

Because certain clubs are already in Saudi pockets. (sheff utd, chelsea have some unknown murky stake)

They will allow it this january and when its abused and sheff utd are relegated they will pass the change or have it forced via fifa eventually.
