I read the BBC report and thought what a load of bolloxs, talk about bigging something up - it said I quote 'Leicester City set out plans in 2021 to expand the capacity of their ground to 40,000 seats, making it one of the largest football stadiums in the country.' Ffs even Sunderland hold more than that. Let alone, Spurs, West Ham, Man Utd, Arsenal, Newcastle, and probably more clubs. Then there was the 'flagship fan store.'
... add Citeh, Liverpool, Chelsea and Villa ... so it will become the 11th biggest capacity in England - so making it 'one of the largest' in England is not that far fetched - particularly as it brings it within 2k of Chelsea and Villa
If a tree falls in the forest but nobody hears it, do people just check the score because they didn’t know you were playing?
little old leicester. finally won a league title with so few fans watching. Will be the biggest ground in the championship
****ed off the idea of schlepping to Sheffield as the pub round the corner puts it on for the local supporters’ club. Got too many games around Xmas and we’re at home five times in Jan.
