Crompton is a real prospect, the shock for me last night was Hemir , first time I have warmed to him, but he ran his socks off for 90 mins never letting his head drop, and played a part in most of our good moves, the build up to our last minute goal was an example. It could easily have been a deserved equaliser, or even the winner if we had not started so slowly. Just watched Murty,s after match interview, another great addition to our coaching team by the powers that be. This club is in safe hands. OaU.
Signed from Shrewsbury the summer before last along side a lad called Callum Wilson (also from Shrewsbury) who was actually considered the better of the two, fingers crossed he keeps up the good form and maybe we see him get a loan.
Great news about Hemir, I wasn't sure he had it in him to graft like that. I really like the look of him ability and physique wise so if he's got his attitude sorted he can really crack on and potentially have an effect on our season. Just to play devils advocate could it be because Mowbray has gone? It doesn't seem very likely but there must be something behind him suddenly switching on. I always thought Mowbray's comments on him were more likely to harm his confidence than encourage him.
