I had a laugh with a lad who plonked himself next to me with 10 minutes to go.

He kept screaming for us to 'push out'.

I turned to him and quietly said, "We're in the trenches mate, anyone who puts their head over the parapet will be picked off."

'Errr, aye .... keep them out Lads!' <laugh>

The comments by Farke on us injuring and getting away with stuff have really riled me and got me worried. It already seems like yellow cards are easy to
Dish out to us, but comments like this often stick in referees’ minds which might make them send us off for less than they would other teams!! Worried me and there will probably be nothing said to Farke as it wasn’t directly aimed at a ref!!

They had loads of the ball, all in front of us. Exactly as we wanted it. We basically put thought them tactically. Brilliant from the coach and the players. Disciplined as I have seen from us. Every player played their part. One of my favourite performers this season

Thought our performance was akin to Burnley away last season, for young kids they show great discipline and determination and whilst he has his detractors thought 09 was immense, as were the 10 others mind.

Aye.... sitting next to Richie Pitt. Brought back great memories when the lads on the pitch did us proud. The same can definitely be said about the lads on the pitch on Tuesday night too.

I've had a look on their board and a few have took it ok, and accepted we deserved it to be fair.
There seems a few decent lads on there.
I don't hate Leeds like I used to many years ago <laugh>
I did laugh at one comment where a poster accused us of being a dirty team :D

Anyone watched the SAFC behind the scenes on YouTube of the Leeds game?
Just wondering who it was at half time on the pitch with scarf? Think the announcer said Josh someone? Boxer maybe?

All. Although still buzzing about the other night I am a cynical tw*t by nature and although I think I am wrong in this instance (most if truth were known) has anyone else thought that the team we put out was picked by someone else other than Doddsy?
Has Speakman already got his man and had him prior to TM going. I am just wondering if this Reims lad had a say in it. Highly unlikely but that was a big big call imo for a caretaker manager to change a winning team and formation from the Saturday.
You could argue he is just a caretaker manager. You could argue no the new manager would not have known enough about us or Leeds and you are probably justified and correct in that thinking but something keeps nagging away at me about this.
If this was purely down to Doddsy & the players then I believe we could be on a very steep upward trajectory on the magic carpet.

I'm also still buzzing from Tuesday night, probably our best team performance of the season and I would say it was ALL down to Dodds and the lads. A great plan, perfectly implemented with grit, determination and passion, everything we want from our team, on Tuesday we got it.
Still smiling, can't wait for the next match! HTL

I could be wrong here but Dodds and the coaches seemed to put a bucket load of work into these last two games. Really dug deep. That level of passion and focus would be very difficult, and possibly unhealthy, to maintain for a longer period but OK (and brilliant) in a short burst.

No way did I think we’d get 6 points v West Brom and Leeds. The players and support staff deserve every bit of praise they are getting.
