Sure Dortmund had like a 2xg at their place they were class first half. Find it hilarious that they’re now going on about injuries as if they’re the first team to suffer. We’ve got to play a 17 year old lad alongside our 2 £40m central midfielders, tucked inside £65m worth of wingers. Complaining that they’re missing Manquillo, Targett, Burn and Krafth who are all apparently first teamers when they’ve just spent £70m on Livramento and Hall. They qualified for the CL because A) they were playing once a week all season and B) Liverpool and Chelsea had so many injuries. When the won the semi-final of the league cup and the final was announced they had about 3 games to play beforehand. Man Utd had 7 in the same space of time and had to play 3 days before the final iirc.
we would beat that team in jan, Milan poor tonight but their subs much better, they had a £322m team at Spurs, oh tiredness, etc it's the same for the other european sides, i bet Bruce could have done better had he been given that money. Villa next season champions league
When I left school I done a year at Rolls Royce training school there. The kids from the local school in Scotswood came down one dinner time and twocced a few scooters and broke into loads of cars in the car park
It'll be very hard and we will have to be almost perfect but if there was ever a time to play them it's now. They have a pretty favourable run of fixtures until they play Liverpool so I hope they don't gain some confidence because they look absolutely shot. Ploughed all their energy into the first half and were an absolute mess in the second.
Ideally need them to beat Chelsea in the cup because they’d have a semi final scheduled a few days after we play them. Liverpool, Us, LC Semi-final and Man City in the space of 11 days. Also not sure if anyone noticed but Trippier could barely walk doing the lap at the end of the match. He’s suspended next game anyway but he could be missing over the Xmas period if hes f*cked his back.
The Mags will pretend they're confident of winning at the SOL, they're not and they know it ... ... they've lost 2-0 and 3-0 at Bournemouth and Everton, not to mention 4-1 at Spurs. Their away performances haven't been too consistently good tbh.
You'd think that if we were to keep to tight 1st half, then our young lads should be able to run them off their feet 2nd half
Have to beat them at our place like I’d hate a replay at SJP. Think it could be messy at their place with our young lads in that atmosphere.
Mags all at each other's throats on their board. I like to think if we got into Europe we'd enjoy it and support the lads no matter what happened.
Fulham next - won last 2 by a 5-0 score. Won 3 of last 4 and only pipped by Liverpool at Anfield in last 5 minutes. Nightmare opponents in the circumstances as the tourists will expect to roll little Fulham easily regardless I think anyway.
