Plymouth defended well and their attack with 11 men looked dangerous. Dykes heading tame today. We lack incisiveness up front.
Hard to play against a team when they’ve parked the bus. Lucky whoever plays Plymouth next, they’ll be knackered.
In fairness that’s 10 points from the last 12 available, still in bottom 3 but happy we’re playing decent football, there will always be games like this but we go again on Saturday
That was awful, the lack of composure around the box was shocking. Huge 2 points dropped against a team that hasn't won away all season and with 10 men for 60 mins. Really can't understand why Smyth and Arnstrong weren't on from start of 2nd half. Bonner had about 20 attempts to cross the ball into the box and failed to get it above shin height on every attempt. Dozzell just as bad , passing was pathetic. Willock and Chair looked more dangerous 1st half and resorted to shooting from distance every time. I think Richards was brought on just to prove to the fans that he's still alive, ****ing useless twat. Gotta be said that El Cif has to take partial blame for that result tonight, a point gained but feels like 2 dropped big time. Still in bottom 3 and it feels like the balloon has been popped
With all that play, a plethora of opportunities, it really does highlight the inability of Dykes to score. You always give him the benefit of the doubt when the service isn’t there, but tonight it’s disappointing I’m afraid. That said, Dixon-Bonner was a real handful. Needs to start.
Didn't deserve more than a point, if Richards can't be bothered with football, does he want to swap with someone who does, he can have my job if he wants
Have to give credit that Plymouth defended well under prolonged pressure. We had many potential chances, but could not put the ball into the back of the net.
Definitely two points dropped rather one salvaged but there is a strange thing about playing against 10. At 60 mins it felt like one of those games we would not score in even if we played another hour or two. The forwards made speedy runs on multiple occasions to mostly be ignored by the mid field and wingers. I assume that's what Marti has told them to do?? Chair and Willock did not play with the flare we've seen revived, Dykes was Dykes and Smyth was OK but dis put one or two crosses no where. Armstrong on 90 mins is too late to make any impact. Credit to Argyle who defended well and, even with 10 men, looked dangerous in attack. I feel certain they'd have won with 11 men.
Paid a tenner for that on QPR+, really expected a win but as soon as they got a red I was worried that'd ruin the game, stop them from even trying to have a go, and leave us with ten men facing us every time we approached their box. That is what happened...frustrating night and annoying that after trying to break them down for most of the game, we didn't just pepper their goalie with shots from outside the box. Seemed we were trying too hard to create unmissable chances that never came.
