I don't think I have ever felt so disillusioned this season as just now. What the hell was that? Sunday Pub team level. No sense that anyone knows what they are supposed to be doing. The "masters of the bring it out from the back" have been torn a new one by a team that played out quickly and with confidence (& without any pressure being applied from us). Meanwhile, the "masters of the bring it out from the back" are ponderous, slow, immediately closed down, no idea on who to pass to, mistake after mistake, give it to the opposition. I am lost at what I just watched. You would think that the Manager has lost the dressing room looking at that.

No flow or fluidity in the side, Slater seems just about the only one who has any intent to get the ball forward and try to score (other than Connolly in the opening stages). Really, really poor.

Connolly trying and not just losing the ball over and over again to be fair to him. The only one who looks like he might bag a goal.

Slater having a good go and making a menace of himself.

Jones just about coping with everyone else failing miserably around him.

Allsopp unsighted for their goal? A couple of good long balls too to be fair to him.

Coyle, ****e but out of position.

Christie, ****e but at least improved as it went on.

Delap looks like he can't be arsed. Couldn't give a ****e.

Seri, a special kind of ****e there. Absolutely ****ing shocking and clearly hasn't got the legs.

Twine, worst half he's put in for us. Kamikaze ****e.

Morton, sloppy ****e and needs to stop the Hollywood passes because they're all getting intercepted.

    Greaves, a nervous poo.

If I hear anyone say we don't need a midfielder who can actually tackle I'm going to spontaneously combust.

I mean, these look poor and dodgy at the back. It wouldn't take much to get on top here.

We don’t press as a collective. It’s usually just one person at a time sprinting to look busy. Compare that to Boro’s press where they have one person pressing the player on the ball and two more closing down the passing lanes.
