Can't say I'm that bothered about the lack of EL football, we've more important things to focus on. Time to focus on the PL.

There's no getting away from it, our players - and I mean almost all - are not good enough to be playing for the club.

I think we have to accept that this squad is midtable quality.

Experienced players who are good enough to keep - Shaw, Martinez, AWB

Players who have a future at the club under the right coaching and development - Mainoo, Garnacho, Pellestri.

That's 6 off the top of my head I can think of. May have missed someone.

The rest, I mean all of them, are just not technically or mentally good enough to play for a side aiming to reach the top of the league.

I’m really not defending them. I mean, what’s there to actually defend? But I don’t think they will try and pull a sickie. That will be a road to hell.

    I really don't think it's Chris Rea's fault tbh.

You'd keep Maguire now, surely. He's proved his worth last few weeks.

Mount hasn't had a chance due to injury. We literally don't know how he would do in a settled midfield as he's not played there.

Casemiro getting a lot of stick bizarrely after last season, I'd say we need him back. Admittedly not long term in any way, but he should be in the actual team for the rest of the season, some experience required.

    He hasn't just become ****.

Still think there's a player in Antony. He certainly doesn't shy away from effort, unlike the three players I mentioned earlier.

And there is still a prospect in Hojlund. We absolutely 100% definitely need another striker next month though.

Toney anyone? Anyone thinking of Toney?!?!

No idea, not seen that confirmed.

If so, they've done well to notice this and jump on it, rather than sit on their hands doing **** all like our lot do.

Absolute no brainer, and they've just done nothing.
