Was en route to the game when my GP rang to say my blood test taken last night had shown something up. Told me to get thru to Dryburn for further tests. Been in A&E for 3 and a half hours so far. Had another blood test taken. Lads win cheered me up. Sounds like they played well.
Nobody has said that (that i've seen) I prefer him coming off the bench as feel he is more consistent coming off the bench but he was class tonight. Always worry about him playing multiple games in a week but he should be fresh having not played much Hes always got performances like that in him, just want to see it consistently now Hard to give a motm tonight as so many class performances O9's best performance at CB for me tonight
Farke sounding pretty bitter, seems to think we parked the bus and that was the limit of our ambition. I guess it's hard to accept that your team did their best, made no mistakes and still got beat.
Well happy. Can't believe they came here for a draw. Baffling given we're prone to concede early. They did nothing but stifel our attacks with yellow card fouls. Ta for the 3 points and the clean sheet. Beat them with the tactics board. Nice to see after Tony's unwillingness to adjust tactics according to opponents. They came for a draw, we put 5 at the back. We just had to be patient. Ba looked appalling though. Utterly dreadful. Would rather look at benette for cover for Roberts than Ba at the moment.
I’m pretty pleased to hear it personally. We did park the bus. And we did it really well and he didn’t know how to deal with it so he’s frustrated. It’s nice for an opponent manager to seem so flustered by us
Trying to pretend I don't care about the match during anniversary night out with lass ha ha. In Mayfair but she's still not convinced ha ha
We still got loads of players forward, so i wouldnt say its parking the bus as well Its playing a lower block n let them have the ball in front of us
We sort of did but it was a new way of doing it where it didn't stifle our attacking play at all. When someone parks the bus in the traditional sense it's a pretty dire watch.
