utd have to go strong tonight but so do bayern as the bad loss at the weekend won't be tolerated and another loss on top would be mini crisis.

as a result utd get 2 days rest more than us unless we play reserves.

this is an absolute waste of time game that no player who starts v utd should play in.

Even if they lose, Bayern will still be 5 points ahead of whoever in second. Untied to Bayern are what Union are to us on our group. Both fourth place teams, in both scenarios the result is meaningless to the top team.

This game matters a lot more to United than it does Bayern. A win for United they could potentially end up second in their group.

 

Am I right in that we win the group even if we lose this game? Should probably stop being lazy and look at the table.

I'm sure that's the case though and if so we rest as many as possible.

 

Utd talk inevitable here, such a big game and this game is a dead one. I'm always nervous for the Utd game and this one is no exception, they are in a bad place but this game may galvanise them so we have to be professional and not give them the opportunity to build any momentum.

they might be hurting but it's up to us to make their heads drop and feel they have no chance in the game so they fold.

if we encourage them and make them believe like we allowed palace to start to believe then their bit of quality will cause issues.

if they give up they absolutely stink.
