I find it impossible to comprehend that SAFC would displace it’s own fans who have Season Card in the North Stand, more than likely have to close the Black Cats Bar for the day and deprive SAFC fans of tickets due to segregation to accommodate NUFC fans in the North Stand lower.

This is before giving the obvious advantage of allowing NUFC fans being immediately behind the goal.

We have just been told that we cannot accommodate any more than 2,000 Leeds fans as it would be unsafe to do so. Yet it seems that we are considering offering double and more to our nearest and dearest. Surely this cannot happen.

Surely they’ll keep them in the North Stand Upper, if the need more than 2k let them get to the corner where the doors can be locked on the concourse.

Dont think its Sunderlands choice on how many tickets they get, FA cup games are entitled to 15% of ground, id presume they have 15% of the ground earmarked for an event like this, those who have season tickets in those areas surely have a clause in ST that you might not get your seat for cup games.

The only decision to be made is surely by the police on what they believe to be safe not the club..... although id expect planning (or hope) a replay would be planned now on what the police believe would be safe should we visit up there.... Surely both allocations will be the same in event of potential replay

It’s slightly different tbh, they’re entitled to ask for up to 15%, which the club can’t refuse if the safety advisory group sanction it, and your season ticket isn’t applicable for cup games, so no guarantees as to where you’ll sit is my understanding.

I can’t see them getting anymore then they got when we spanked them 6 times in a row. Let’s just keep it the same. No need to give them any kind of helping hand.

Look North reporting that they believe the scum will get the whole of the north stand upper and lower. No announcement from club yet. Disgraceful in my opinion if true. Kicking our own fans out to accommodate them. If its true don't see it going down well with our season ticket holders.

would we get 7,000 tickets for a replay, no chance, it would be interesting though. the concourse is not officially open is it still ? they could build a perspex wall across at the corner. they could bring 2,300 supporters at a time rather than all together as well Hartlepool brought 9,000 in 2004 so who knows.

Been rumours building all weekend. North stand lower and upper given to them. Lad who seems to get a fair bit of info over rhe Road reckons it's 5k with the rest empty for segregation

There is if rtg is anything to go by.

The fact the lower bowl doesn't even have a proper wall between the north and east stand makes it an even more ludicrous decision.

Then add in all the existing season ticket holders that are going to be seated god knows where

Black Cats bar seats are at the back of the north stand lower bowl, what would happen there?

It's understandable. If its announced by the club its a shocking decision. Could lead to carnage, apart from that it's our home end which club gives visitors there home end.

The rumours have been about all weekend, it's even been on the radio and local news today.

I'm hoping it's all just stupid Internet rumours, but it's looking true

Well based on their past record of smashing up their own city centre after a derby game and punching police horses I doubt it will be approved.
