Gelhardt is one who in a few years will be a premier league player. I still remember his debut against us, he absolutely skinned Kev Stewart and then smashed it past George Long . He’s more of an attacking midfielder to me, perfect build and it suits his strengths of dribbling and link up. Think it’s the type of player needed next to Delap if we want him in the box more to score more goals. If not we need a Kieffer Moore type to be in the box after Delap’s done the hard work.
Wow. So. Discussions to take place in January over the future of Liam Delap. As in, there’s a chance we might get him permanently if he wants to. Would also free up a loan spot.
Quite sensible fee as well TBF, I've got to say I was wrong when I said I thought he'd be out our price range, sell on % bringing the upfront cost down I'd say. But win win all round of we get him on a permanent
Good player is Blackett Taylor. Bang in form as well, reckon we need 2 wingers in Jan to help us push on.
Wouldn't be a bad signing, 26 year old winger who has 6 goals and 6 assists in 19 games so far this season.
Well bugger me, did I dare suggest that this was a possibility a few pages back, hmmm, and no, I'm not itk, but given the relationship these young lads seemed to have with Rosie it was always a possible. Morton next please !
Think Delap has realised the pathway to start at Man City is not likely to come off and like you say is having his best bout of professional football here. Morton on the other hand I think there’s a world where he gets decent game time with Liverpool very soon.
It hasn’t been reported. But it will be no doubt. Yeah similar to Philogene is what I was told, Man City still think he will come good.
