Sorry but Howe did not get schooled by Dyche. Trippier made individual errors and they let to goals, simple.
I think you're wrong there. I don't think many felt we'd stroll into top four again, some, sure. I personally predicted 6th, and I still think when we get the squad back on track, we'll achieve at least that.
They defended, and then when they regained possession, they broke and attempted to score? Genius. **** me...
I'm referring to the people insulting the people making assesments and views that are later proven correct. I will always express my views and understand they may be unpopular and of course they can be wrong, but if someone insults me when I make them I take a mental note and a screenshot. I'm a vindictive arsehole basically.
It doesn't have to be the fact is it worked and Everton won so dyche got the better of his opposition manager.
Dyches team won after following his tactics and instructions and Howes team lost following his tactics and instructions. So who schooled/got the better of who managerial wise ? Come on guys I like Howe too but let's not argue black is white....unless you all want to say the only reason Bruce lost games was because he had crap players.
Just because Everton got a lucky break and we subsequently crumbled, doesn't mean that Howe was tactically outmanoeuvred. There really isn't the need for a hyperbolic side story to everything.
I watched that game and it was clear to me who's tactics were working best throughout. It wasn't just about a mistake the games are 90 plus minutes long.
I had it on, but decided not to watch, so I closed my eyes and listened instead. Maybe that's where I went wrong. It sounded like Everton's tactics didn't really nullify us but we failed to take our chances then made 2 mistakes in the last 10 minutes.
We're going around in circles but ultimately Dyche got the better of Howe using his players and tactical nouse. Perhaps in March Howe will get the better of Dyche.
Never mind the fans, it’s give and take with Pickford, but he disgracefully humiliated the Newcastle players last night with his antics. Joelinton should have booted the smile off his smirking face.
3 goals in the last 10 mins with the majority of our players playing 270 mins plus stoppages this week already, wasted opportunities and individual errors due to mental fatigue.... Not sure you can see it as anything other than tiredness in all honesty. Brining on Ritchie and Krafth at 90mins shows how desperate we are at present imho. It's going to get worse before it gets better as well so just prepare yourselves, we need bodies back in the squad. If you can bring on Target, Burn, Botman, Longstaff, Willock, Barnes, Murphy, Wilson in these types of games where it's tight after an hour all of a sudden you have 5 sets of fresh legs (half the outfield players) with a bit of quality about them to turn games in your favour and boost the morale. Currently we are stuck with 11 seniors who are up to the starting standard and a load of fringe and youth players on the bench so it'll always be difficult in the last 10-15 mins of games. Not sure if Howe doesn't trust Hall but I'd be getting him off the bench before Ritchie and Krafth just to add a bit of energy into the game, he's versatile so he can play LB LW or CM as needed and move players around to give them a breather.
They'll beat us again on the evidence of last night. I hope we don't beat Chelsea and get them in the cup. I think they have a good chance in the league cup actually. They're is good form.
