They are just a comparison site. Presumably you are buying off the actual sellers (Stub Hub etc). They are all theoretically illegal (its actually illegal to sell tickets at higher than face value in UK and all these sites are based overseas for that reason). It means you have very little comeback if they don't deliver. I have bought tickets off these before and half the time they are promising tickets before they actually have them. With Premier league games its not that big an issue as they are probably people with season tickets who don't want to go to the games or have realised they can make a bit of money out of it. My Mrs once decided to treat me and my son to Man Utd - Chelsea tickets for my birthday and found some online. A shady guy turned up at my house with a stack (probably 50 season ticket cards) and threats that if I didn't return them to someone on the way out of the stadium I would be charged the full price of the season ticket. Eventually told him I wasn't interested and she bought us hospitality tickets instead. Have also bought them from sites like this for World Cup matches. Arrived in South Africa without tickets having been delivered and had to meet the guy the day before the game to get them. In Brazil we were told on the eve of the game (Holland-Chile) that our tickets were no longer available and they would refund our money. So in summary I would only consider using them if hospitality was not available and my TV was broken. But if I get ones for the Nottingham Forest game I may be prepared to sell them to you for a reasonable price .
There was no other way to get to the game mate. I tried resale but there was nothing, I tried the ballots. I'm sick of not getting to games at all. Haven't been to one in like 3 months via the ballots.
I got tickets for the Arsenal game through them and it was fine except for the price! If the club are clamping down then it should be on the season ticket holders that are selling them and not the poor mugs like Tash and myself.
