Following the worst week we've had in two years I thought it might be good to move on and look forward to a huge occasion. This could see Newcastle make the knock out rounds of the champions league or it could be the club last appearance in the competition. In light of the past week is it actually possible that the players are holding something back? Are the players really just burned out like many believe? Your thoughts?
If we do progress in this, it's a bonus as I'm not expecting us to, especially with just 2 days rest. Chelsea for me in the Caribou is still our big chance.
I think howe might do well to throw a game somewhere and play the u21s or rest as many as possible. There's no end to this the games keep coming every 3 days for ages, so if these players really are burned out it will get worse not better. This game vs Milan might be the end I fear unless the players just wanted to be available for it and held back last week.
great match day thread plenty of Inside knowledge I will be there giving it 100% as usual those who don't give 100% aren't real fans get this pinned up
Let's hope we put in a big performance and win. It will mean the fatigue excuse goes out the window though, you can't be tired away and have energy at home, it's still the same game Anyway, let's hope it happens.
Who doesn’t give 100% as fans? Not sure what that means. If it means that some get upset when we lose then that’s just being a fan. Who likes losing? Tell me what’s a fan who isn’t giving 100%???
Talking about the new found plastics that are buying £200 tickets for a cushion seat behind me who are just there for the jolly No passion, nowt they just sit and stare even when we scored against manure
He has a shoulder injury from playing too much football when he should have been rested against Tottenham. EH is ****. Recruitment could have signed us a new keeper in the summer instead of Barnes
