We’re not winning a cup mate. All kinds of issues at exactly the wrong time. A squad with a load of injuries but Botman/Pope aside none of the rest actually start. It’s a massive few months ahead. Can the current set up bring in the players needed, can the manager navigate this stormy sea, how far will the investors patience stretch?
Who changes a game like today? Or Everton, or Bournemouth? Anybody telling me Pope and Botman are the difference between beating these teams and not is off their head. We are miles off it. We look lost as does the manager.
He's the manager and is responsible win lose or draw. He's not managed the squad well.. it's bizarre the lack of rotation from day 1
Do you need insider knowledge to see signing two expensive LWs around the same time, around the same age, playing at the same level, was a bad bit of business when we have two poor quality RWs? I don't think this is anything new, people have been mentioning this for months. Do you want me to say names of who they SHOULD have signed? Er, Ronaldo, Messi, Benzema can come. There you go, cover in a few spots. How to deflect Trev's bollocks responses
Notice we were trying the Almiron 1;2 on the right yet again. It’s embarrassing For a young manager Howe isn’t half obstinate.
It has to be the aim though, we need it as a club and Howe will need it to keep his job, i think he needs to win something within say 3 seasons of now, that's why i still feel the final last season was massive, it isn't easy getting to finals and you HAVE to turn up on the day. He is doing a good job, but he's gonna have to win a trophy at some point.
Problem this season is that teams know how we play. It's predictable. High press doesn't work as effectively and Almiron is just ****ing ****e.
This is why he will play the strongest side possible at Sunderland. We need to be trying to win that this season.
That's part of the issue. I don't undrrstand why either. Yes, fatigue but they are professional athletes. Rotate the ****ers with kids if they are tired. We aren't getting top 4 this season.
I dont think we CAN do the high press rn with the lack of cover all over the place. I do agree that rotation in general at Newcastle is poor. If people are going to argue against that they're absolutely off their head, the drugs must be fantastic in the North East. Trippier is playing so poor in every single area, he looks tired. I don't see why Tino cannot play at RB and Hall comes on for Tino. I mean, Trippier is 33 and we are probably shortening his career.
We couldn’t afford Diaby apparently. We quald for the UCL. Doesn’t ****ing add up. We spent £55m on Tonali. Tielemans was free. Again, what the **** is happening here? Swapped ASM for Barnes at a cost of £5m. Why? Brought in two full backs when we had no intention of playing them. Left Schar, Lascelles, Almiron, Murphy, Longstaff, Wilson as being good enough. These lads were all in the Championship. I don’t get the change in transfer policy, going from signing Trippier, Isak and Bruno to then signing Barnes and Hall. If you asked which players were signed AFTER qualifying got UCL what would you say? Its ****ing strange, ****ing stupid and the owners will not be impressed.
Yep, by not answering the first one at all. And, secondly, by trying to trivialise the second one and not answering it. Wonder why I didn’t ask you questions to clarify your logic before now.
"I think signing those two for 100m was a waste and hasn't worked!" "Nonsense! One is injured for the rest of his life and the other is a gambling addict and banned for a year! How can you suggest they were a waste" hm.
They got it wrong mate you're spot and you took loads of **** for saying it all summer and beyond You deserve an apology, but you'll just get more ****.
