I thought he was back in Turkey to 'aid his recovery from injury', whatever that means.

Having slept on it I'm sure if we'd started with Traore and Twine swapped round we'd have seen a different performance. If I was Traore I'd be very pissed off that I was being played out of position then hooked at half time because it hadn't worked.

I can't think of many games this season Traore has looked good regardless of position so not sure he has much to be pissed about other than his own form.

We'll have to agree to differ on that, I'm not getting into a 20-page debate. :emoticon-0100-smile

I thought the back four were particularly guilty yesterday, Delap, Twine and Philogene kept making runs into space and kept not getting a pass.
I haven't seen it on a screen, but yesterday my first thought was it wasn't. However he was fouled outside the area and got no advantage since he was tackled in the area so at the least we should have got a free kick. Don't know if that was what the players were so angry about.

I think Traore’s been good in most games he’s played centrally, but terrible in every game he’s been played on the wing.

Sinik would obviously be playing now if he was available, but as usual, he isn’t.

    Allsopp has shipped 19 from 14 games or 1.35 a game...whereas Ingram shipped 7 from 6 games or 1.16 a game.

I was sitting a row in front and 6 seats along from Nick Barmby. Fellah in front of me (hope he isn't on here <yikes>) spotted him half way through the first half then for the rest of the half couldn't stop turning round to have a look. He got his autograph at half time then spent most of the second half looking at the autograph, looking round to see if he was still there and occasionally watching the game! He was probably the only Hull fan who went home happy!

Is Allahyar injured again, or just out of form/favour?

How much did we spend on transfer fees for him and Sinik, not to mention wages? What a waste.

It shows that Philogene is quality at this level and that we are in danger of becoming reliant on his moments of brilliance to bail us out of our attacking deficiencies.

As to the bolded bits. Ok, except that:
    - he loves all of them
    - he "like(s) this team and wouldn't change anyone"
    - he gets to pick who plays, and as importantly, where
    - he sets the tactics, including our attacking plays
    - he & his coaches coach them week in week out, including our attacking plays and finishing (....allegedly)
    - he was desperate to bring back Connolly, and had a big say in who we ended up with and also who left

But no, let's not suggest anything particularly wrong with LR!!

He's inexperienced and it shows. He's learning on the job. Others keep saying 'they did a job on us', and that's correct. We're predictable which allows others to suss us out. Good managers get the best out of what they've got available at any one time. He's been very well supported by Acun. But Rosenior chooses to stick to the process no matter what. That's inexperience and conceitedness that you think you have a magic formula. Hopefully his learning curve is steep and rapid, but I unfortunately still don't see it.

100% hyperbolic and reactionary but it is still a poor signing.

I didn’t see the game so can’t comment on performances, but would I be right in thinking the result yesterday showed the limitations of our squad depth?

Without two fit wingers, we haven’t looked the same team this season. We still haven’t sorted the LB issue, Vinagre clearly wasn’t the answer.

I’m still hopeful it’ll come but the January transfer window gives us chance to sort a bit of this out.

Replace Sinik and Allahyar with some consistent wingers and we’ll be in a much stronger position.

Agree, but I think it goes deeper.
    2 wingers.
    1 LB.
    1 CM
1 striker who is a goal scorer (I know that might sound a daft description, but it's what we need in simple terms).
Ideally a better keeper (Allsop and Ingram are ok, but just 'ok').
    That's quite an overhaul, again.
    And more nous from Rosenior.
