    Not now.

I'd prefer him to heckingbottom or eustace though.

It doesn't feel right time though.

All very inexperienced. Dodds is really highly thought of and I agree, if we go UK based, he'd be my shout. I reckon they'll pick a trendy foreign coach. Not sure what I'd go for. They'll make the right call

I’m all in for Hellberg now (sadly means it won’t be him) having seen how Cifuentes is doing at QPR. Their fans are absolutely raving about him and the turnaround there and his results have been superb to date.

It’s my one reservation about the lad, and whether the ‘step up’ between the leagues is too much, pretty much extinguished. It’s no guarantee as every individual and circumstance is different but it shows stepping between the leagues effectively can be done.

Tbh i think he’s a canny lad, same with his ‘enemies’ on here. Not into these board wars. There are people I don’t like because of their social values or general disrespect but that’s different from falling out over football facts. Life’s too short.

People say potter and will still are unrealistic which is fair but I would say if you showed them that game, 40k in the ground, class training facilities, academy with a good reputation. Probably the most exciting group in the championship to work with, any coach should be excited to get involved. There’s a big risk as in any job but there’s such a massive reward there for any upcoming coach

Not sure how accurate this is but iirc two of last season's promoted clubs, and the losing play-off club, had English managers ...

... if that's typical then the club would be foolish not to, at least, consider one.

I have no preference as long as they fit into what the club are creating and play good football with exciting players.

West Brom have the archetypal 'young animated ambitious foreign manager' and played like a lumpy league 1 side. It was all about muscle, game management, long balls and hoping to catch us with a sucker punch.

I wouldn't like to have to watch them every week

Ha. From what I hear I think they are focusing more on one specific individual now after the round of 3 interviews.

Michael (captain fish paste) has posted a story on things this morning, just see it on my feed. Its accurate.
