I admire your optimism but it pains me to say,IMO we deserve nothing out of this game...We've been nowhere near it.

Vinagre was supposedly Rosenior’s first-choice target at left-back and never played the **** even before he got injured.

I'm sorry but it is, unless your telling me LR is being given players he doesn't want? LR said after the widow he got who he wanted and the positions he wanted

Oscar going for example was all down to LR saying he wasn't wanted/needed.

The lack of width killed us in that game. Enjoyed Vaughans cameo at the end, I was a little worried he might lose that spark coming back in but he still had it. He probably should have been the one who came on for Philogene.

And signed a backup, which he also doesn’t play when his first choice doesn’t

    Typical CITY.....
A team struggling in the bottom 3 with a record of 4 wins, 4 draws, and 11 defeats and we fold up like a pack of playing cards. Utter ****.

Add DQPR to the list of shame.

Lose to Mborugh and fail to beat Cardiff we'll be mid table also rans.

Too slow which is a an issue and the norm, the only person who rates our style and thinks others do is Rosie.
He seriously has to either put pace into it or change it

So the Massive win , that’s us effed on New Years Day too - I used to be an optimistic pessimist but my powers are waning . After 61 years of watching you just always feel this is the way it’s gone most years
But I am full of cold LOL

Sorry probably wasn't 100% clear. I do think LR is happy with who has come in and who has come out. I am of the mindset as well we have probably missed out on some targets for reasons respective to those transfers. Do agree especially on Oscar's front but it is clear they wanted another striker in and got shafted last second

I do also think that given we have a Director of Football and Acun seemingly involved in the transfer process that it is a collaborative effort and as such the blame doesn't entirely fall on him. It is also worth noting they didn't full overhaul what was a very bad transfer window in the summer prior to Rosenior joining. That window has set us back a fair bit and will take time to rectify.

It would seem the bang average keeper situation is inevitably going to affect our top 6 aspirations!!

Hopefully we’ll change it. Because as I’ve said many times before, if we don’t make at least the top 6 with this squad, it’s a massively wasted opportunity. Philogene and Delap won’t be here next season too if that happens.

Don’t think you played badly at all and both goals were against the run of play. Begovic’s save at the end was particularly good but he made a couple of others. Some good players going forwards even if the goalkeeper and full-backs aren’t great. Philogene getting injured just after Connolly came on was a big factor too I feel.
