We dont know there's no transfer kitty for January and yes you'll come back and say "i know we dont as KLD or KS have told me". No one will know what we have ti spend in January other than those 2 and SH In regards to the timing, time will tell if it was right or not
If we don't spend he'll be on here shouting 'told you so' in everyones face but if we do it'll be 'things change'.
He has openly said he isnt involved in that side of things so probably couldn't You seem to always go on about that this ownership group dont spend money, yet they have spent money since coming in
Even if we don't spend in January I am happy in the knowledge we aren't spending money we don't have (even though we will spend), unlike Bobs mates the worlds greatest owners spending money they didn't have on players the coaches didn't want. Wish we could go back to that I enjoyed it so much being a mid table league one team.
Aye ok, no chance Bob - the budget will not be discussed with them. Budgets very rarely get discussed (in the terms of we have 10 million to spend this window)its about identifying appropriate targets then deciding if they are affordable You are a right broken record with this ownership group having no funds to spend
Hold on, I'm not knocking it, just as a club our timing and back up plan never seem to match up. How about a £10 bet, after the window closes we have not spent the Hadji and Stewart money on players. That should be about £12.5 million. Will you take the bet ?
That's just a blatant lie though isn't it? Did we take a bit too long to appoint Neil? Maybe but we got the correct man in the end and that's what it is all about. Mowbray was appointed straight away so that was clearly part of a plan.
I think it was an opportunity knocks situation. My guess is that they always had in mind that he likely wasn't the long term solution but as long as things were going well no reason to rock the apple cart, a dip in form would be enough to go and get someone who is fully bought in to the head coach role and the youth first approach. I've said before, I rated tone, probs my fave manager after Reid and keano, but I think it was probably time. This appointment is massive though. They'll either be fully vindicated or look very silly.
Your so right. Lads I ain't knocking the plan. I just think the whole situation has not been thought through, I'm probs wrong, but let's see. Remember it's just opinions. I like Kld and Juan, I get on with KS but I don't have to agree with what they have just done, THATS JUST MY OPINION.
The squad we've assembled is more than capable of reaching the play offs imo. Losing badly at home to Huddersfield isn't anywhere near what we're capable of. Some of the good players we have weren't used correctly ... ... what's the point of bringing in more, in January, if they're not used by Mowbray correctly either?
