It's strange to see people discussing the club as if we're in the midst of a massive crisis ...

... I think people got so used to it that it's in their DNA.

Lots of clubs would love to be us.

It doesn’t really matter what any of us think, once you go against your boss or owner you are toast and I believe that’s the reason he’s done that. Huge payout, time at home with the missus and bairns.what’s not to like.

What has social media got to do with it. And comparing him to Mick Buxton is barmy in my opinion. Each to their own of course.

Social media is great at taking superficial things and making them look more important than real life.

Being a walking Werther’s Originals advert does not make someone the best SAFC manager we’ve had in 30 years

History will remember TM as Mick Buxton without the cap, a temporary appointment that set up a better one

I think history may remember Tony Mowbray who took a team to the edge of the play off final playing some of the best football the fans had seen in many many years

The football is down to a better class of player, recruited by Speakman

A coach better suited to working with Speakman and KLD will make Tony Mowbray look like… Tony Mowbray before he came to SAFC

sorry but that doesn’t add up. You can’t say the football is down to the recruitment only, and give Mowbray no credit for it, then say a different coach will improve things. Either the coach is responsible for the football or he isn’t.

Mowbray deserves all the credit he gets for our over performance last year

Sorry can't agree with that. If you can't give TM any credit for last seasons football at all then I despair.

He may have failings as all coaches do, but to dimiss his involvement last year is bizarre to say the least

I gave him credit earlier on. He did a great job of tidying up the mess after Alex Neil’s departure and sparked off a cracking promotion run.

Nobody can deny that, but there’s no way he deserves all the credit for a team mostly assembled by Speakman and coached by Alex Neil.

What Mowbray did best was boost morale and have these very talented young lads playing out their skins like it was a kickaround with their mates… right up until they didn’t
