Roles for Crawley 56th minute 1 - 1 Scotland Ladies 0 - 5 England ladies Seems to be all Crawley at present making us pay for the missed chances Is it extra time, penalties or replays Not a problem anymore Crawley 2 - 1, Forster 69th minute Still it isn't a league match just the EFL trophy and nobody cares much about them matches 74th minute Brown off Marquis on
I couldn’t care less about the Trophy but I would be rather pissed off if we played like this in a league fixture.
I couldn't careless about it either that's why I did something more interesting when the first half was going Crawley's way
with retrospect, it was not a bad thing that we lost on Tuesday, The manager can start now to make the changes that he wants after that result and we (the supporters) can see the team as a difference or not as Taylors work and the past should be kept there.
Yes, I think the defeat against Crawley will have given him plenty to think about. It will be interesting to see who makes the starting lineup tomorrow. Should be a good game and it will be good to see DC back.
Went to the match today, in the first half we were clueless couldn't find a man with a pass and our defending was dire. was surprised we were still in the game at HT, must have given them sum roasting at HT because the second half I thought we shaded it but anything less than a draw would have unkind to Cheltenham. Wish the ref had been consistent with some of his decisions made us take the throw ins from the correct place but didn't seem concerned where they took theirs from and their GK new how to waste time and did with just the occasional whistle and a wave of the hand to speed him up
Another below average performance. Oh for a decent striker ! Lost to Crawley and failed to beat the bottom team at home. We were doing reasonably well under Mangan and the players wanted him as manager so would have been worth a punt. Just hope Taylor isn't another five minute wonder like Tisdale.
Cheltenham are improving and doing well under DC whereas Yaylor is just finding his feet still and players adapting to his way. Give it time and hopefully we will see some wins soon.
Wasn't the fact we didn't win it was the lack of any apparent effort / pattern in the way we performed, they looked clueless in the first half, much better performance in the second but Cheltenham still had good chances to win the match except their strikers apparently had taken shooting lessons from our strikers
With any new manager it will take time to get his philosophy across to the players so I hope that Gasheads give him some breathing space and don’t expect overnight miracles. We’ve got a good squad and neither Barton or Mangan really got the best out of them. Let’s hope Taylor can.
We need to sign 2 or 3 players that don't come with a sicknote attached, under JB we seemed to have signed player with a long list of injuries in their careers, which gives us less than a full squad to select from

Off we go to Norwich - lovely city - on 6th Jan for the third round. Great first half performance from the lads - hopefully they can carry that into the league.
By the way, there’s loads of goals in the FA trophy - check out the BBC Sport website. For example, Weston Super Mare beat Woking 3-2. - great result for them.
