I'm going to have Friday and Saturday to myself Mrs luv not back until Sunday afternoon Christmas quiz Sunday night at our local.
My day so far 6:15 get up at 7:20 taxi arrives and we got stuck behind a bin lorry on it's round driverasks what time my appt is and when i tell him its 8 he mutters ominously about traffic and i then proceed to take part in the most "exciting" game of Crazy Taxl ever. Hospital went fine and nowhere near as much blood as last time and got 2 procedures done in one go
Since i got in had a phone call from a private number , so assume working from home , asking if i could pop in for a CT scan today or tomorrow . Declined today and queried tomorrow considering what they had just done to me so they put it off for a week or 2 . Took over a year to see anyone now i'm at the hospital almost as often as some of the consultants
That'll be the day ... Bumpy and Sucky hang on my every word ... and cry for hours when I'm unavailable...
Today crowns a first week in a new job - was getting a bit nervous as last contract finished end of October - the Christmas cupboard was starting to look rather scant ... now working 2 days a week in the London office - Mondays and Tuesdays with 3 at home... and midday finish on a Friday if you put in the hours earlier in the week, which is no problem at all ...

Mortning already had what feels like my daily phone call from the hospital and i'm back in again next friday with an 8:30 appt though did point out i couldn't guarantee getting there on time due to roads being closed plus christmas traffic .Reckoned i might be there for 4-6 hrs due to safety reasons for what imo is a simple procedure .if it was 6 it would be the same as yesterday which included an operation plus a separate internal examination while i was stilll numbed by the spinal block .
Buenos dias. Bday day out for the bird. Had a voucher to use for a fancy hotel in London and there’s some poncey Israeli restaurant she wanted to go to so booked that. For some reason she wants to go to Borough market on the way so probably be eating some £7 focaccia in a bit.
