Wouldn’t even say it’s lucky. They’re pressing much better this half and it’s paid off.

Moyes is one-upping Ange here in how to switch tactics.

Why he brought Skipp on too I’ll never know. Not the answer when looking to win a game, even worse now we’re behind.

I could take another defeat, even against these ****ehawks, but not playing like this.
It's so poor - almost reminiscent of last season.

Johnson and Kulu have been dreadful. Well, they've all been bad, but those two particularly.

we’re just not the same team without so many key players. We don’t have the cutting edge and teams find it so much easier to negate us.

as I said after the villa game, I don’t know where our next win is coming from. Newcastle next and they’ll bounce back against us.

we’re about mid table standard at the moment.

I had no aspirations for this season, but I'd come to think a top 4 might actually be possible.
Now I feel that we have 10 minutes to salvage a top 8 finish, even with the returnees in the NY.
    This is so poor.

This is painful. Listening to champions of Europe, the worst song of all time is just rubbing salt in the wounds.

Even with missing players, not being clinical with chances cost us against Villa and let the Spammers back in tonight

If we started the second half 2-0 up Moyes' tactical tweak wouldn't have bit on us as hard - or, just as likely, he'd have tweaked the tactics differently to chase a 2-0 deficit instead of a 1-0 one

Removing both Son and Johnson doesn’t suggest Ange is quite as attack minded as portrayed

I expected a car crash season but it been and we've seen good football bar Fulham in cup, wolves and tonight's second half...

We just don't have a good squad...
Richarlison, gil and winks sorry skipp ain't added anything as subs.

Just is what it is tbh

Still...at least its worth coming again

I’m not going to be as down beat as everyone else. We haven’t played badly at all. A bit of luck and a stupid mistake have cost us. We had some luck in the first 10 games and this is the way it goes sometimes.
We are still playing some good football and scoring goals.
We just need to be patient. December has so many games and we can bounce back from here.
I’m gutted as everyone else about tonight but I can see where we are going and that’s the main thing.

When someone works out our sub choices and the timings in which Ange makes them, please clarify for the rest of us. There’s been a few occasions where skipp has come on when we’re trying to win a game, for example, and I genuinely don’t understand what that offers us.

Two embarrassing derby losses at home. Not good enough at all.
