I'm a miserable git and just dont see the point of it really. I know its important to many people mind.

I just see Roker Report doing their fundraiser for the soup kitchen, to feed people that can't eat. £10,000+ for people to hold up a bit of card that then likely won't find its way to be recycled just seems like a waste of money at this time of year.
