Well given he dislocated a shoulder and its about 10 weeks to go there's a fair chance for it being December at the earliest.
https://x.com/FabrizioRomano/status/1715348764477493601?s=20 Indeed. Klopp confirmed it will be 'some time'. It was said when it happened that dislocated shoulders are 6-10 weeks, and as he's having surgery that can almost be doubled. Got to get surgery though, as those old enough to remember will recall Lawro had his shoulder pop two or three times after he dislocated it, so he needed surgery too. yeah, that was nearly 40 years ago, but I think it's quite complex techniques they use. Just have to get it done and get on with it. We have the Greek and Joe can play there at a pinch. We can buy again in January if we need, though I hope it's left footed CB and a DM we're getting in Jan if poss.

Manager Jurgen Klopp says Alisson's injury is not as bad as first feared but he is still set to be out for about two weeks, while no timescale has yet been put on Jota's recovery. sounds bad for jota. Another muscle injury that kept him out for months last year. Alisson 2 to 3 weeks. given the 3 league games. (fulham, sheff utd, palace) if he is back for man utd it'll be great. Kelleher would have played lask, union and west sham in league cup anyway.
Liverpool fixtures that Alisson could miss through injury: Thursday, Nov 30: LASK (H) - Europa League Sunday, December 3: Fulham (H) - Premier League Liverpool games Alisson Becker could miss after injury blow confirmed - Liverpool Echo
Matip has ruptured his ACL so basically out for the rest of the season. His contract is up in Summer so probably has played his last game for us. Very sad about this as at his age, recovering to the level needed will be tough
it'd be typical of us to give him a sentimental extra year contract to get him fit for a new club. it'd be totally counter productive as a club to do so but I suspect we will
He's one of the most underestimated ball-playing centre-backs in Europe. Tragic that he missed so many games for us though. Good that Quansah is coming through, BUT - we need that extra CB in January now, given Konate's injury record too.
