It seems it took this long because the victims and first responders/nurses were undergoing thorough treatment and extensive therapy. There was also a robust due process of evidence gathering before such serious accusations were made public. I understand there was significant pressure from the Gulf states and Saudi to go through this due process as the findings reflect appallingly on Islam as a belief system. This was the point I was making, nothing to do with your usual swish of a cape and 'oh! look over here!' change of subject. I acknowledge that the idea of a due process may be foreign to you.
