Was thinking more of lads we've brought in since then, likes of Hemir, Rusyn, Adil etc. Somebody on the other forum last week was mentioning divides in the dressing room. Clicks forming etc.
Think you always get it though mate. The French speaking lads will always gravitate towards their own,as will the UK lads. The problem comes with players like Jewi or Rusyn,who don't have any English and don't have others in the dressing room they can align with.That's where the club needs to step up.
We’ve seen the team selections at times, Roberts has 1 goal involvement in 17 games, still gets a game most weeks and was tried as a 9 whilst we had 3 strikers sat on the bench taking the blame for us not scoring. Can’t say I’d be sat on that bench over the knot if that was me. I wouldn’t be too concerned about cliques in the dressing room when there’s a lot of French lads. They’re young lads living away from home and all speak the same language.
Ah really? Hope not, team spirit was a huge part of our success last season, lost huge characters in gooch and Batth though so can see truth in it
Well he did well last season and he then got strikers but couldn’t change up his tactics to get them in on goal or most of the time even in the team! The defence also got worse. they wasn’t much moaning about the recruitment when he had us playing well but soon as he’s hit a sticky patch it was the recruitment’s fault. Just my opinion like but I trust the club to get it right. Haway the lads let’s get back on track and get some wins strung together.
I think it's clear to see that we have a good dressing room, you can see that by their body language on and off the pitch. There will always be natural divides - the French speakers, the English lads etc, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's a "split" or that the divide is an issue. The all-conquering Arsenal team of the 2000s had a large French contingent that socialised together and away from the English lot. Didn't see to do them any harm. I think it's a lazy assumption built on zero facts
Sorry to see TM go, under his guidance we have seen some incredible football. I wish him the very best for the future as another rollercoaster ride starts for us fans.
I generally agree. We’re up front about our approach and people need to buy in- however if our model doesn’t involve listening to pitch side it needs to add it into the plan.
Agree,our club has been transformed since KLD took over and appointed KS. Evolution in most things is never linnear,which some of our fans don't seem to grasp. I have confidence in the future,and am of the opinion that the model won't change,and we will get a new first team coach who will move us to the next level.

He's going to stick up for his mate. So what? He's wrong though, and although Tony was great for the club, we move on to the next level.
