Preston seem to have imploded. Hopefully we can stop letting opponents score first and get better at taking our chances. Games might not be so bad for the ticker.

The thing is, with this team I almost fear matches with lower teams more than I do with the top teams

Then we could be in serious trouble, Struijk cannot read a game and is easily pulled out of position, Cooper is all washed up.

Well obviously I'm surmising but as it was the Boro stiker he kept following and Farke didn't bark at him from the touchline to stop doing it I'd say it's a fair assumption on this occasion.

Oh and believe me when Farke's not happy about something he let's them know. For example Struijk attempted a long diagonal which went straight out of play and he got a right rollicking for not keeping possession by passing it square to Rodon.

If winning 7 on the bounce at home is serious trouble then bring it on <cheers>

....but if Rodon gets a knock then this 7 in a row stuff might not continue and that's the point.

It's great when you're winning games. Everything is rosy. However, you should never stop trying to improve or you just stagnate. It's not about throwing pelters at players, it's identifying potential weaknesses moving forward and fixing them before it becomes a problem. That's what we can do in January to give us renewed impetus for the final push. It would be negligent to do otherwise.

The problem is, we can’t have a spare Rodon sitting on the bench, it’s the Championship. I thought we’d signed Ampadu as a CB so if we were short at CB and with Spence returning, I’d feel confident with Ampadu in the back line and Archie and Kamara in the middle.

Too true ! We need another 2 good solid defenders 1 to slip straight in next to rodon and the other for injured players , I have also said for a long time that the captains armband needs to be shifted from Cooper, he is neither inspiring nor quick enough , how can you have a captain Cooper who is constantly out of the 1st team either through injury or simply NOT GOOD ENOUGH , I might start calling him captain capitulation or captain crap.

But if archie is in ampadu place and ampadu is cb who is going to do right back ? The fact is we still need another defender or even 2 defenders

Yes true if we finish 3rd we might as well finish 6th , we have to take our chances when playing ipswich and leicester and beat them both , I don't see ipswich complaining about injured players they just carry on , but yet we have an injury list getting longer and at the wrong time as ipswich game is coming up and we must win that at all cost
