Let's play 'Where's Tricky 'Three Planes' Rishy?'
Great to see his pioneering work to combat climate change has earned the UK a place at the top table!! <doh>

And that's why we need PR and a new proper left wing party to defeat the red tories.

Today in Israeli lies, it's not children that the IDF are obliterating saturation bombing against hospitals, homes and schools, but puppets

Don't suppose Benny the Blackshirt has any more final, most essential commands...?

I've heard they were redesigning the Oyster Card, but not sure they've taken a particularly practical approach.

Yes, it's a tragedy. But you make the point that the IDF killed the wrong person which is true, when in fact the bigger point is that (1) this all happened because of a terrorist incident in which Hamas terrorists murdered three people and injured several more at a bus stop and (2) this was while a cease fire was supposed to be in force. So to a large extent the innocent victim was as much a victim of the attack as those who were murdered.

We of course are fortunate to live in a country where this kind of terrorism is not commonplace, but if we did I'm sure people would be far more 'on edge' than now, and there would be a lot more people wielding a weapon on the streets, who would not be as well trained as our current armed police (and now doubt you would point out several occasions where even the most trained police have not got it right). Fact is that this was carried out by an idiot reservist who perhaps wouldn't have been there if better troops were not in Gaza. Also I think the victim engaged the attackers either only just before or at the same time as the soldiers, which made it easier for them to misinterpret who he was firing at.

But you are talking about a different society that regularly experiences terrorism, including people that from time to time blow themselves up. So in case you are wondering why he bared his chest, that is to attempt to demonstrate that he was not about to explode. But people do, and it's sad but not particularly surprising that security forces take no chances. So when for example (not you) ABC accused Israel of excessive force against "attackers that were no longer a threat" it's a ridiculous thing to say when it's really quite hard to judge what no longer a threat means!

    It's a sad situation.

How does a supposed Christian not have any idea when Lent is?
Ok, the different sects don't entirely agree on it.
It ends with Easter, though. That's kind of the point.
