If you listen to Rosenior post game then you'd realise that Delap is beind Tufan, Twine and Jaden in the pecking order for pens.

Then was Ingram considerably worse than Allsop at it? It's not just about kicking the ball out its dealing with pressure and being able to invite a press in this system. Ingram couldn't do it and we struggled building up a lot when Ingram was in net

You could argue that the team/squad as a whole has improved now in inviting the press etc due to time using the system and if Ingram was in now we would be better then when he last was..... It's all ifs, buts and maybes though and won't really make a difference, Allsop is Rosie's man and his #1.

I certainly would be interested to see if that was the case. There are things Allsop does I dont think Ingram could do but you could be right the collective is better now

Jaden , watch Doku at Citeh , you’ve got more skill but he’s got more of a football brain- at the moment

I can understand Tufan and Twine being in front
It looked like Jaden hadnt practiced penalties previously

I think that Allsop has been pretty good at saving shots
The best way to invite a press is to show that your players are liable to make a mistake
It's better to play out from the back as quickly as possible

Ingram would not magically become better with his feet and short passing just because the rest of the team has.

Just look at Ramsdale in goal against Brentford for what happens when you have to use a keeper not good at passing out in a system where everyone else is used to it.

I thought Allsopp had a decent game to be fair. He made some good saves and his passing was decent. Ok the second goal he was at fault but that’s how far Rosie wants him out of his goal. Just a freak incident and a brilliant goal, the game should have been finished by then anyway.

Should’ve done better with the 1st I think. Good strike but right down the middle of the goal. It’s the trade off though, he’s not better then Ingram in any department outside of distribution, but the gap in that is much larger then the other elements.

Somebody said that Allsop was 15 yards out
I was under the impression that it was a lot more but I watched the highlights and he was only about 15 yards out
I still think he made a few good saves

As a club over the last 15 years we've had a lot of first class goalkeepers

Trent Alexander-Arnold took a fantastic free kick on Sunday
    I bet he practices them
Do City practice penalties and free-kicks to the same extent?

If they conclude that they don’t enough, then you can rest assured that they will going forward. That’s what I like about this set up. They learn quickly.
It was amateurish not knowing who your penalty taker is in the middle of a game though is and puts more pressure on him when taking the penalty on the back of a debate about who should take it.
